Project Details

Encircle was launched in 2002, as a Voice Over IP (VOIP) product offered by Netspace Online Systems. Already working at Netspace, I was brought onto the project to design the site, and produce the site’s templates and CSS.

I also contributed significantly to the production of printed promotional material for letter box drops, Newspaper advertisements and point of sale displays.

My involvement in these was initially quite minimal, whereby I would check the designed templates coming in from external designers, to ensure they met the requirements of the printing contractors.

I also contributed to the copy, both in some of slogans, and in correcting grammar and spelling.

We instituted an informal announcements area on the Netspace website where details of new plans and services were released. Links to these releases were posted on the Netspace homepage, and forum sites such as Whirlpool.

Netspace Profile/History

Initially written for inclusion in a local newspaper, this “then til now” profile of Netspace continues to be used in their marketing.

Netspace Lookout: Lost America

In 2001, I began a monthly column called “Lookout”, which sought to provide mainstream audience exposure to independent, original sites they wouldn't normally comes across as a result of their everyday surfing activities.
