Cue the Sun

To the last place on earth

Hong Kong, China

I was here for all of a few hours, and whilst it no longer boasts the hair-raising take off and landing it was once famous for, gliding in past the high rise apartments of Hong Kong is still a more interesting stopover than most other airports I’ve been to (not that there are many). Certainly a place I'd like to revisit for a longer period I think.

I have survived…erm, arrived

A surreal midnight flight into the far east, with a blood red moon off the wing and a Melbourne cabbie in my ear. I was glad to glide in through the towers of Hong Kong and move on to the next stage of the flight…until I moved on to the next stage of the flight.
