I almost set Hong Kong as its own territory, but the reality is, it’s been Chinas’s property for a decade. I’ve not been to the chinese mainland, though the Great Wall and the Forbidden City are definitely two sites I feel I have to visit at some point in the near future.
A surreal midnight flight into the far east, with a blood red moon off the wing and a Melbourne cabbie in my ear. I was glad to glide in through the towers of Hong Kong and move on to the next stage of the flight…until I moved on to the next stage of the flight.
